Toronto Interior Decorator for Calm, Functional Homes

I design residential interiors for busy professional families, creating homes that feel elegant and inviting while working effortlessly around real life.
My work balances warmth and restraint through thoughtful layouts, materials, and details that make homes easier to live in. I work with clients who value both beauty and practicality - people with full schedules, active homes, and the need for spaces that operate just as well on a Tuesday morning as they do when hosting friends for dinner.
My design goal is always the same: to create homes that serve your everyday routines, rather than just looking good.

A Steady Hand Through Complex Projects

My path into interior decorating was not direct, and that broader perspective directly benefits my clients.
With a background in Art History from McGill University and an early career in client services at top-tier advertising agencies, I bring both creative insight and operational discipline to every project. I am experienced in managing complexity, aligning multiple stakeholders, and keeping work moving forward seamlessly.
Today, that experience shapes how I work with homeowners. I act as a steady, prepared presence throughout the process - absorbing complexity, managing details, and ensuring the work unfolds with minimal disruption to your daily life.

My Design Approach

I believe a home should feel inviting, comfortable, quietly refined, and rooted in the human scale. Never fussy or an effort to maintain. My style is warm modern with neutral, visually restful foundations that create a sense of quiet, layered with carefully considered elements that add depth and personality. I pay close attention to proportion, texture, and light, not in pursuit of perfection, but to create rooms that feel right without you knowing exactly why.

Why I Do This Work

I returned to school to study Interior Decorating after managing the custom build of my own family home. During that process and in living in the home since, I have realized that the right design decisions weren't just improving how our home looked - they were reducing daily stress and helping life run more effortlessly.
That insight continues to guide my work today. Thoughtful design has the power to simplify routines, bring a sense of ease, and make everyday life feel more manageable.
That's the exact feeling I aim to create for you.
If this resonates with you, I'd love to hear about your home. Let's start with a conversation.
