INTERIOR DECORATOR, TORONTO
Rooms that feel right before you can say why
I’m Stacia Morris. I lead whole-home decorating projects across Toronto and the GTA, and I care as much about how a room works on a Tuesday morning as how it looks when it’s finished.
How I design
My style is warm modern. I start with a restful, neutral base and build it up in layers: natural materials, texture, and a few pieces with personality. Colour and pattern come in as accents, placed where they’ll do the most.
I pay close attention to proportion and light. A room should feel generous without feeling grand, and be easy to look after. Nothing in it should need protecting from the people who live there.
“Stacia has an innate ability for balancing style and practicality; for seeing not just what a space looks like, but what it could feel like.”

Why I do this work
I came to decorating through my own home. Managing a custom build as the homeowner showed me how many decisions a house asks of you, and how much rides on the early ones.
Living there since, I’ve seen what the right decisions do. They changed how the house looks, but they also made mornings smoother and took small frictions out of every day. That’s what sent me back to school to study interior decorating.
It’s also why my practice is built for people in the position I was in: taking on a whole home, with no spare hours to run it.
Who I buy from
I look to Canadian makers first for furniture, lighting, textiles, and art, when they’re the right piece for the room. If something better comes from elsewhere, I’ll tell you why I chose it.
I’m committed to equity and diversity in the trades and suppliers I recommend.
